I can understand why SK would not like that move. Travis played one snap on defense last game and was not at 100%.

The newspaper said he played nose tackle against the Camels plus they have 8 or 9 other guys playing both ways. SK has 3 or 4 players that play both ways but they only play both ways rarely.

The paper I read said that the Raiders played 18 different guys on defense and said nothing about 8 or 9 other guys plus Travis playing both ways. Not sure what paper you read. Ryle now plays 4 guys both ways at this point in the season. This makes Ryle's defense much stronger than what the Neers faced in October so advantage - Raiders.

I didn't think they had many taking a lot of snaps both ways.

Just like I said prior to the first game, the key is Hempel. Sure Elliott had 150+ yards but for the most part SK did a good job of containing him. Hempel made more than a few huge plays with his feet and also was pretty efficient with his arm. SK brings the blitz a bunch so they can yield some big gains but I don't see coach Herbst playing too safe, that's not his style.

Agreed Hempel IMHO was the difference maker for Ryle in the teams first meeting. The strike across the middle for the TD near the half way point, the yards he picked up on the ground multiple times that kept SK off balance on D and the big conversion late in the game for a first down that really changed the out come of the game. SK's defense is good enough that they won't be beat by Elliot or Hempel but if they both make big plays and both play mistake free it will be hard for SK to stop Ryle. Like others have harped this could be a low scoring affair since both teams have met once already and have the game film of each other to work with.

This should be a great game.

I thought number 4, 34, 18, 53, 75, 44, 1, 24, 2, played both ways for Ryle?

4, 34, 18 and 53. Others would be on occasion but some not at all in the list you mentioned.

Ryle will win by 3 touchdowns!
