So the Miami Heat aren't that good.

Having Mike Miller will be nice and all but they still need to rebound A LOT better if they want to win in the playoffs. Bynum and Gasol would tear them apart inside.

LA Lakers are the best TEAM in the NBA, period.

I don't think it really matters who comes out of the east....Kobe will get #6 this year.

Lakers are loaded....Bynum, Gasol, Odom, Kobe, Barnes, Fisher, Brown, Farmar....the list goes on. They're deeper and more talented than any other team in the league.

I think some of you are forgetting that Mike Miller is out with an injury right now. When he comes back in January, the Heat will be fine.

It's 9 games in to the season. Come on guys. You're all better than that.

Boston kind of cruised through the season last year and look at where they were in the playoffs.

The Heat will get better as the season progresses. They'll finish, at worst, #2 in the final Eastern Conference standings.

I'd say #3 in the East is the most likely scenario.

I've tried to tell my brother that Bosh was a tad overrated but he just won't take it. Stoudemire or Boozer would have been better pickups for LeBron and Wade IMO. I feel that David Lee actually would have fit their games better too.

I agree with the first statement, as I have stated that myself. However, I think that both the Celtics and Magic could have higher seeds than the Heat.

Wade is fresh off of an injury. They do not have the surrounding parts to be great, plus they still need time to gel.

Say what you want, but the Heat will be in the thick of things when the playoffs roll around. They're simply too talented. They'll cruise into the playoffs & will be a very tough out for anyone in the league.

With that said, I love watching the Celtics beat them.

Paul Pierce's tweet after the game is absolutely priceless....

^ I'm not a big fan of his but I couldn't help but laugh at that.

Farmar? Better check the roster again. HAHA

They have no rople players and their stars have no clue how to play without the ball. They'll still be a tough out this year. Next year and the year after they'll be a lot better with roles and depth.

While Bosh is not the offensive low post threat that they need, it seems the BIG place that he is lacking is on the defensive end. Put a defensive demon like Garnett on that time and now they are tough. Bosh seems too soft, too unwilling or unable to play defense inside like they need.

I thoroughly agree. That's what I said to my brother but he doesn't want to listen.

LeBron is thinking. "What should we do?"

I haven't seen any games, not sure how many attempts Bron and Wade are getting but they need a lot of shots to get going. There not really designed to score 15 a night.

The weakness at PG and C are for real. I do think it's too early to write this team off though, seeing as how they've played together for 9 games. They may not have enough of a team yet to take down Boston or LA in the playoffs, but I would guess that they will be much better by then.

Look for the Heat to make a move to improve the PG position.
