November 23, 201015 yr I had said from the beginning now way Spoelstra lasts the entire season. He is not ready for that type of team. I think Miami will be very tough by the end of the season, it takes a while to gel.
November 26, 201015 yr Two ironic points: 1) Remember when people said they would average 110-120 points a game and now they are struggling offensively? 2) Was reading an article today on Wall/Arenas and how they supposedly couldn't get along because they were both the same type of player, slasher/scorer instead of shooter. Made me wonder why they couldn't play together in the same lineup but supposedly James/Wade can, even though they are very similar players.
November 26, 201015 yr Lost of Haslem to injury will hurt the Heat. Was watching them last night and they have NO DEFENSIVE ROTATION. Dribbler starts to the basket and they have an open path. No one there to stop anyone. Bosh is horrible defensively. Z just fouls. You get past your guy and you have a path to the rim. They need a Mahorn/Laimbeer combination to be awesome.

Dampier should somewhat provide that presence. However, he needed to be there in tandem with Haslem, not his replacement.
November 27, 201015 yr As for the Heat I don't know if they're ever going to look that great this season, I just don't think the pieces fit that well together. DWade is losing his mind without being able to pound the basketball into the floor, he's taken some horrible shots the last few games and his percentages show it. He's awful as an off the ball guy, what did he work on this summer if anything at all? LeBron thinks he's on vacation....5 rebounds per game? What kind of lazy crap is that? Chris Bosh is the definition of soft. Mastermind Pat Riley's great cast included the two worst centers in the league in Big Z and Joel Anthony.....championship material let me tell you. Is there a worse guard in the league than Carlos Arroyo? The Heat had better hope the league changes their rules to allow teams to play with more than one basketball at a time.
November 28, 201015 yr Heat go down in convincing fashion last night to the Mavs. They are now 0-4 on the road against teams with winning records. They Heat are now 9-8 through 17 games. Last season they were 10-7 through 17 games.
