Oh they could use the field as honestly there is nothing to prevent a match from being played on it but Dale wouldn't stand for it!

 

You will see a new turf field on the HHS football field before you see a new HS gym at HHS or turf on the pitch at Tower Park for the soccer team!

 

We'd settle for a decent PA system...

So when is the turf being installed on the soccer field? Have the soccer boosters raised the necessary cash to fund this project? Has Campbell County North Soccer been contacted about contributing to the kitty since they would be able to benefit from this as well?

NKU doesn't LET high schools use their new soccer field. They rent it - to the tune of $1200-1300 dollars. It is a shame that the HHS football field wasn't put in to also be a soccer field. Teams playing on grass fields are definitely in the minority, although the sate game is played on a very poor field at Georgetown - unless some changes have been made there.

 

They didn't have a problem paying the rent when they played Covington Catholic. BTW, Cov Cath took the trifecta that day. Freshman, JV & Varsity went home with victories. Guess the turf didn't help the Birds that day.
