They should definately look into NKU - heck the Athletic Director at NKU has had kids graduate from Highlands. It's a great facility and I know they've already let high schools use the field - Brossart has played a soccer game there already.

NKU doesn't LET high schools use their new soccer field. They rent it - to the tune of $1200-1300 dollars. It is a shame that the HHS football field wasn't put in to also be a soccer field. Teams playing on grass fields are definitely in the minority, although the sate game is played on a very poor field at Georgetown - unless some changes have been made there.

No they play soccer games at Bellevue's football field, Dayton's football field, etc. Although maybe they do not meet a field dimension regualtion for a state game...............Kind of like you can play regular season baseball games on fields but a lot of fields do not meet post season requirements.................................

Highlands field is too small for a soccer field. #1 it's not lined for soccer, and yes, a soccer field is much wider, and as everyone know's that has been to the Birds Nest, it's very tight on both sides which can also cause injuries. Why are they not using Town and Country or the Field at NKU?

Yeah, thats would be like playing soccer in Notre Dame stadium. Wont happen!! Not because Highlands football wont let it, because its not big enough. The chalk that you are talking about would be placed in the 4th row of the stands on one side and it would be splashed on the Jeff Ruby sign on the other side. LOL.

So what if there was a Running track still around the football field like there was up until the early to mid 80"s. Wouldn't that be a hoot!!!! They use to line the corner of the endzone's at about the 3rd lane in. I remember it well.....:laugh:
