No offense Purples, you guys are a class act, but Trinity wins this one by 35+. The Rocks have too much this year and you have yet to face anything this year close to what is coming to Bowling Green on Friday night.

 

Bowling Green is too good of a team to get blown out by 35 points. As I have plenty of family from Bowling Green, I'm well aware of the schools they have down there as well and the Purples are very, very good. Trinity is the better team, there is no questioning that, but they are not 35 points better. The gap isn't that big.

 

At MOST, I could see Trinity winning 3 TDs and thats if things start to really go south for the Purples. Trinity will win by roughly 10 in my opinion, maybe 14.

Show Stopper thanks for the insight. I am just basing my prediction on what I have read of the Purples here and other places and competition played. Trinity is not just a good team this year but a very good team. In my opinion the best Trinity team ever only to be surpassed by next year's Trinity team. Good Luck to you and the Purples. I know how exciting it can be when your team is able to escape with an upset victory over the Rocks.

I think you have a VAST over-estimiation of the ability of the Rocks. No doubt they are good, and no doubt they ought to be favored, but BG has more than proven that neither X nor T has the capability to blow them out, and the scores from the past 5 years simply don't lie.

I knew Trinity was good but hadn't followed them that closely this year. Comments like this kinda make me wish we were playing St. X too! :irked:

The offense of Trinity and the defense of Bowling Green are like mirror images of each other. Trinity likes to shift and motion their players all over the place; while Bowling Green does the same on defense. If Trinity can run the ball successfully it might be long night for the Purples. I believe it'll be closer than the "experts" predict.

We know of Bowling Green's recent early season impressive showings against the Louisville powers the past few seasons, but this game I feel Trinity will be (as they should) in mid-season form, so to speak.

If you have ever imagined what it would be like if you could consolidate all the best players from Warren County on your team, you are about to find out times a factor of 10, as Trinity has collected the absolute best from Jefferson County and they are heading to Bowling Green. These players possess powers far beyond those of mortal men. :isurrender:
