where did you get this list for Towles? I don't see it. His ball floats too much, and not a real compact delivery. I hope he proves me wrong, but i see him playing DII maybe a MAC school.

This was the first time that Holmes had been challenged and it took them a while to adjust to getting hit back! #75 for Cooper is a tough player. If Holmes executes on a couple of key plays the game is out of hand. Cooper is a good football team though. They will shock some people this year. We'll see how good Holmes is when they play Dixie in 4 weeks. Should be a dogfight!

I know alot of people like to throw bricks at Pike but give the kid a little credit. Even though he hasn't thrown a perfect game yet, he does have 12 TD's (5 Passing-7 Rushing) and over 1000 yards combined passing and rushing. Not bad for someone with only 4 starts still trying to get untracked......

Pike will be fine, the kid is still learning the nuances of the position. He should be outstanding for his Sr. campaign.

3 D1 QBs is certainly unusual.

For the most part, he is getting better every week. The two picks last week were a problem but he also had several very nice throws and did a better job reading the defense and finding the open man. Let's hope the improvement picks up even more for this week's game.

As far as I know, just QB. Other than briefly during a couple of games last year, he hasn't played safety on varsity. I don't see him playing any at that spot this year unless there's an injury. Not that he couldn't handle the position.

Technically one of his offers is not QB - it is to play OF for EKU's baseball team. :thumb:

Look for Pike to end up as either a High 4 star recruit or 5 star. Lots of recruiting insiders are really high on him.

I'm sure you're right. But the list of schools from whom he has offers - for whatever position - is very impressive. We're talking about some of the top football schools in the nation.
