Good news this morning! Still waiting on the MRI results, but she has continued to move her legs and tried to turn over. Apparently they think she had a contusion to the back of her neck that caused the temporary paralysis. She was fully lucid last night and was asking if the Tigers won the game (which of course, they did not finish.)

 

Say a prayer, also, for the poor girl she collided with. She was extremely upset last night and was crying and talking to Savannah when she was on the stretcher. What a traumatic experience for her.

Hopefully she will continue to recover. Prayers sent for all involved.

Glad to see she is doing a little better today. Thoughts and prayers for Savannah, her family, friends and all the girls.

Pretty scary event and I was holding my breath as I was reading everyone's posts. Sounds like things are moving in the right direction for Savannah and my prayers go out to her and her family. Please continue to keep us posted.

I'm hearing feeling in her extremities and a chance she can go home soon.

Prayers of thanks for her progress so far and continued improvement.

What a horrific scare but praise God it was only temporary paralysis! Thanks so much for all your prayers--I know God heard them!

Update--I just heard Savannah is on her way home. She is in some pain, and a neck brace for a few weeks, but she is coming home!

LORD hear our prayers for this little girl. We ask for medical care thru everyone involved, I lift up her to you and her family. Comfort her team the school kids and coaches, I ask this in your name Jesus, Amen!
