I would love for them to go after Crawford with the money they'll be saving from cutting Harang (and possibly Arroyo) loose, but I don't see them being able to compete with a team like the Yankees for him.

They won't be in the market for a CF.

Who said anything about a CF?

I was thinkin Crawford played CF still.

JPU. Dusty still manages, and JPU is in a Reds uni, JPU.

Let Heisey play. By the All Star break 2012 they will be glad they did. No I didn't say he'd be an All Star...yet

Juan Francisco. I know, I know, I've heard he can't play LF, but that's still who I'm going with. :D

It hasn't stopped them from playing Gomes in left.

I vote Colby Rasmus. It doesn't look like he wants to be a Cardinal and Albert says he needs to find a new place to play.

The Reds should make a call.

Albert said he was upset with Colby and thinks he doesn't appreciate being a part of the organization. Pujols also said that he was going to talk to him about it. This all happened 2 months ago and is now just surfacing. From what I know they have moved on (LaRussa and Rasmus) and LaRussa may not even be back next year. I'd be willing to bet almost anything that they do everything within their power and wait another year and try and work it out before they trade him. Colby is the kind of kid they need on the team if they are going to re sign Albert.

If your the Reds, who would you give up for Rasmus?

That's a tough one. He's young with power and runs well.

I'm not sold on Heisey being a run producer.

The following will be looking to be in the Reds rotation next year:

Arroyo, Cueto, Wood, Volquez, Bailey, Chapman, and Leake. Only 5 can be in so that seems like it.

I'm not sold the Reds will re-sign Arroyo. It will cost 2 million to let him go and 13+ to keep him according to Baseballreference.com so why not take that money and improve the club elsewhere?

I'd go around 8....

No way Werth signs for $8 million next season when he is on the big market team's radar. Try $12-15 million per year.

Upton plays centerfield for the Rays. But Crawford is more than capable of playing it if needed.
