Track the Reds (2nd Half, Week 5)

Featured Replies

In my opinion the Reds have to win 2/3 vs. the Cards. The Reds have beaten a lot of bad teams and done so so against the Elite teams. Im going to make a bold prediction here, if after the Josh Johnson game Friday the Reds are 3 games up on the Cards then we win the division. If not then I think we fade off. You have to beat the good teams, this team reminds me of the Bengals of last year. Beat the bad teams and struggle against the teams we equal or better talent.

How cool is? I just found out that I'll be going to a Reds vs. Cards game in St. Louis the 1st weekend of September. Can't wait to see new Busch!

Eat before you go or take out a small loan before going to the concession stand

 That expensive, huh?

I thought it was a little high. Good, but pricey. Of course, make sure you beat Mike Shannon to the beer stand or you will be drinking soda

Yeah, that'll scare him.

Its more about the Reds saying they're not scared than what the Big Bad Tony Larussa led Cardinals think ! :ylsuper:

Carp, Garcia, and Wainy... Gonna be tough to win. I can't wait, though.

We need Leake to bounce back with a good outing and keep the game tonight close. I think Cueto and Arroyo will keep up their previous good pitching and we can win those games. They just can't walk batters and let Pujols hit with a lot of men on base. He is on fire right now.

I'm not going to lie. I'm concerned about Dusty's thought process when it comes to Pujols.

I expect Leake's "A" game tonight.

So much for Edmonds not playing CF....

I think that lineup is very telling though....I'm thinking Stubbs is the guy.

Maybe the Edmonds trade isn't the best idea. Will Dusty run him out there against every righty?

Huh? Would you rather they start a veteran like Edmonds or guys like Heisey or Stubbs against Carpenter?

I'd go with the LH vet every time.
