August 9, 201016 yr Huh? Would you rather they start a veteran like Edmonds or guys like Heisey or Stubbs against Carpenter? I'd go with the LH vet every time. I'd go w/ Heisey. His numbers this month are great and he covers more ground in center IMO. I don't mind Edmonds tonight. I just hope he's not out there every night.

I doubt he will be. I'm curious as to what his career numbers are against Carpenter. I think this is the type of game that the Reds brought him in for though.

Like I said I don't mind tonight. I just know sometimes Dusty will do things like stick w/ veterans. Heisey has been really good lately.

August 9, 201016 yr He's just a Cards fan not happy with the trade... Yeah, I think it's a heck of a move. Putting another winner in that clubhouse is huge. I've always said Walt is the best, and knows how to win. It's tough seeing two of my favorite players growing up on the rival now... Too bad these teams only play 6 more games, this is turning into a great rivalry.
