August 10, 201016 yr Author Your friend has some merit... Really? A 28 year old was the Reds leadoff man of the future?
August 10, 201016 yr Your friend has some merit... If you think Dickerson was the "leadoff man of the future" you are more off your rocker than I give you credit for...
August 10, 201016 yr But you just said you honestly thought the Reds would sweep the series even with Leake going against Carpenter. Don't recall saying that?? I don't recall using the word sweep anywhere. Did I?

August 10, 201016 yr I didn't say he was the leadoff man of the future. Just said that SOME of the dude's thoughts can't be dismissed as having no merit at all. The Reds have the feel of an older team tonight with the elder Edmonds in center. Wilfred Bremley would have done PSA for the home team tonight.

August 10, 201016 yr Did you not raise your hand when I asked for a show of hands? My fault, went back and read your question again. Misread, I retract my hand. I did not think the Reds would sweep this series. Just hoping they can win the next two now. Will b there on Wednesday.
August 10, 201016 yr Well I have stayed out of the Reds threads since earlier this year, because they did good once I stopped posting. However since they are losing this game, I figured I could. I always read these threads still, and I can't believe how some of these same people act like its the end of the world when the Reds lose. People just need to finally realize the Reds are a good team, and are going to be in it the rest of the year. Yes they will lose some, but probably win more than they will lose. What fun is it to complain all the time, how about enjoy having a winning team for the first time in a long time.
August 10, 201016 yr Resounding statement by the birds tonight. Reds really need to get to Garcia tomorrow with the Cards' ace looming on Wed.
