TL is a master psychologist and I think it all is part of his master plan. Maybe he wants the Reds to focus on extraneous matters besides playing fundamental baseball. Sounds like he has BP riled.

I'd hate to defend a player in the Cardinals organization, but it didn't seem like he was complaining about poor calls. More unhappy about the performance of his shortstop. So, to me there is a difference. I love the guys intensity.

If you can't see this team fights back again and again and again just go watch the Cubs for the rest of the season. Your act after a loss is worse than your lame attempt at any type of joke... Go back and watch. I can think of at least 3 to 4 hard hits that inning. Jay, Pujols, HR, and whomever the last batter was that Leake faced. Holiday's hit wasn't exactly a worm burner. The "one inning" thing doesn't fly. They don't count innings. They count runs. This, as you point out, is one loss.
August 10, 201016 yr Someone posted Leake's ERA in the last couple months and how he has gotten worse as the season has gone on. So these numbers back it up in his last 10 starts, you will notice a trend of really struggling against the better teams. We all know that July 9th wasn't really his fault, he was left in the game too long and the Reds Hall of Fame closer blew it. A lot of times it appears to be the 2nd or 3rd time through the order, batters make adjustments and he gives up a few runs.

The first one really was confusing. I understand you don't want your rhythm messed up, but would you rather your shortstop be out there with a broken glove, or take 4 seconds to switch it out? The game had not even started yet. And the next time he was angry that Ryan was in the wrong position against Juan Francisco. Do you think the scouting report was wrong or do you think he made the mistake? I'm going with scouting report because otherwise the coaching staff would have moved him prior to the ball being put in play. I don't think he was in the right position to scold Ryan in either instance, personally.
