I wonder how many offers disappear this season?

 

They are building this kid up like the second coming of Christ. I honestly feel a little bad for him, especially if he doesnt live up to these standards being set.

If this kid was playing at Highlands and Towles was at Dixie all of you highlands people would be all over this kid just like you are with Towles. Everyone on here knows the outcome of that game already Highlands win big. Don't take things away from this kid because he doesn't play at Highlands.

What are we taking away from him? And all over Towles? I dont see thread all over Bluegrasspreps titled anything with Towles. We have merely stated the facts, Towles had an outstanding sophomore year and we are looking for him to lead us to another state championship. Nothing more nothing less.

If Zeke had matriculated at Cov. Cath., as good a player as he is, how long would it have been before his folks were apartment shopping in Ft. Thomas? :D

 

Question is, as good a player as he is, why would he want to leave Cov Cath??

Wow, bold statement for a kid whose never proven himself at the varsity level at QB. Just curious, what would that make him at Dixie then? The best QB in the history of their universe. Ever.

I believe most of the big schools are recruiting him as an athlete at this point in time, while the smaller schools are recruiting him as a qb. Also, let's remember during the season that it's not the Dixie fans that are hyping him up so much right now. The kid has only played qb for two years and we expect some growing pains this coming season as we know varsity is totally different than freshmen and jv ball.

I'm not saying he is the greatest by any means. My opinion he will be playing basketball anyway in college. I watched him play SK last year he really didn't stick out looked pretty average.

Overall team performance has little bearing if any on recruiting.

I was kidding, I hope you realize.

Come now, we all know that some of the comments made by people were simple shots at the young man, and they were implying that he was not that good. By saying, "He is athletic but will never play QB at the next level" the person is taking a shot. We know that.

 

How many people took shots at Larenzen by saying things like he could never play QB in SEC? I'll bet people took that as derogatory as well.
