I actually like Kobe. Are you really going to say LBJ quit on his team? They played against a BETTER team. A team that would have beat Kobe twice in the last three years if Perkins didn't get hurt. Possibly 3 times in a row if not for KG injuries. Kobe's front office was inept b/c they were listening to him and doing everything he wanted. He would have been gone or in a complete riot if it weren't for one of the most unfair trades in NBA history. I'd stay off that rape indictment too if I were a Kobe loyalist.

I don't know but I was watching ESPN when they mentioned where the announcement will be made.

Try calling out Kobe fans individually because I have not nor will I rip LeBron unless you make me. I have been a LeBron supporter for years unless it comes to comparing LeBron and Kobe. I really don't feel like discussing why Shaq forced himself out, not Kobe. The Lakers chose Kobe. End of story. Shaq said it's him or me and they chose Kobe. Nuff said. Ripping Kobe at this point does nothing for your argument. I have to take up for Kobe against you instead of siding with you on why it's okay for LeBron to do what he wants to do. I am not your enemy on this. Quit trying to make me the enemy. I want to argue with you not against you. Leave Kobe out of this. Please.

 

Him having a triple double means nothing if he is giving 50% and it would have been a quadruple double if he had gotten 1 more turnover. Imagine if he would have tried. He may have beaten the Lakers in the Finals.

He'll also be in NY this weekend for Carmelo's wedding which is why he could be filming in Connecticut. If it's at Allan Houston's mansion(I know, unconfirmed) that would be an obvious slam dunk for the Knicks.

 

The charity donation is for the Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich, CT. First step to becoming close to a new community, maybe?

Can Lebron really be going to NYC? Think about it, if he wins a title in New York, as garbage as that franchise has been in a while, it would have to be 10x the accomplishment of having won one in Cleveland don't you think? Maybe he is ready to take on the ultimate challenge and shoot for the moon, trying to be an international superstar and doing it in the Big Apple?

I will say that the Kobe fans on here WHO ARE attacking LeBron are pretty funny. After all the Mamba was 10 times worse than any of these guys a few years ago. He went on the radio twice and demanded a trade, ripping the Lakers front office. His cursing outside of the mall about Andrew Bynum is historic. Off the court he's had his issues, on the court and in the locker room he's had issues. Not every Kobe fan on here was doing that, but some were.

 

Now we are going to rip LeBron for the way he's handled his free agency. What did people expect? He kept his options open to see what the best situation was for him and people are interested. Maybe not the LeBron-loathers, but almost everyone else is pretty interested. The women at my office ask me about it, my mom ask me about it, heck people around campus in other offices ask me about it. It's a big deal to people. LeBron is easily the biggest star in the NBA...easily. He has his own brand of clothes, he has all kinds of endorsements, and he is the biggest draw in the NBA. ESPN had a report today showing how much the average ticket cost to an NBA game, compared to when LeBron & the Cavs came to town and it was ridiculous. No one elses even compared according to the study, even the Lakers amazingly enough.

 

LeBron has been a model citizen off the court and I don't think he has ever been in any trouble. He dances and flexes sure, but he has always been a great teammate and forgive a basketball player for actually enjoying playing the game, something most guys in the league don't seem to do. I don't know how a neutral fan could go to the Q the last few seasons and not say they had a great time. It was because of LeBron, he is fun. He made the Cavs fun. Have you ever seen LBJ take a shot at a teammate? Sure he didn't shake hands last year and it's inexcusable, not many fans were most disappointed than I was in that. But one incident should not make or break a person. If so let's write off Jordan for gambling, Kobe for alleged rape and other offenses, Chamberlain for mass polygamy, etc. LeBron is the most "maddening" (correct word?) player to be a fan of in the history of sports IMO and it's not easy to be a LBJ fan at all. Fans and haters alike expect way more from him than we do anyone else, even Jordan. Like I said we all have players or people that we see and just can't like for whatever reason, but all of the hate for LeBron is excessive and at points completely ridiculous. "He dances too much", what kind of garbage is that?

Maybe I just want it to be this way but I think he is doing all of this garbage like having it in Connecticut and waiting till after the Camp in Akron to build suspense. There is no drama in resigning with Cleveland, unless the public has no clue where he is really going to. If he resigns with Cleveland, I'll be the happiest person this side of the Ohio River.
