That is interesting as far as the announcement goes. At first glance you would think this would all but be eliminating the Cavaliers. One would think he would want to be out of town if he were announcing he were going elsewhere. Greenwich, CT is in close proximity to NY, NY.

I honestly hope he goes to the Nets. It will be fun to watch Russian Mark Cuban continually flame out of the playoffs just like the regular one, going on tirades, and hopefully racking up fines. And if the" LeBron time" is going to be devoted to any franchise I at least want them to have an entertaining owner or owners in this case. Should make for some good interviews and quotes. Hell, they could even have LeBron summering in Moscow, now that would be something I'd watch. Ultimately though it would fully exemplify what LeBron really values.

It's the shots he shoots. Live it just seems like he puts his head down and is determined to get a shot up even if it's forced. He's the one really good/great player I've watched live that I just didn't like how they played. I haven't liked his game any of the times I've watched him. He's good, just not the kind of player I like to root for.

 

Of the court I think he's almost as lame as your boy DHoward or Durant.

I don't think Jordan would have used them or would have needed them.

 

I just got home and my phone was acting up so I couldn't post earlier but if MJ would have had Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, the internet.....all of that stuff.. then everyone would hate MJ because we would have been force fed all kinds of stuff. You're talking about a man who smothered the market without all of that stuff. The MJ machine would have been off the hook.

Chris Bosh has a documentary coming out on his free agent process. There were cameras(the same cameras I wanted in LeBron's team meetings) in Bosh's team meetings. It has been discussed how the teams he met with were thrown off when he came in with camera and boom mics to discuss playing with them. All LeBron has is a 1 hour special saying where he is going. Hopefully with Jay Z finishing the show with "Empire State of Mind", but I digress. Bosh is using his free agency and the surrounding publicity more than anyone else. Wade and Bosh both tell everyone how great their meetings went with each team while LeBron has yet to utter a word other than I'll announce it on ESPN Thursday at 9pm. Lots of LeBron hate out there. It isn't LeBron's fault he is so blessed with a basketball and the 2nd or 3rd biggest moneymaking basketball player in the world. We could only be so lucky.

 

Biggest free agent class in any sport in the history of sports and people act like it shouldn't be a big deal.

I actually agree here. I think this is a pretty big story and a big deal. I just think a professional shouldn't have a one hour TV special announcing his decision like an 18 year old kid. My dislike for LeBron doesn't have to do with the FA process (except for the special). I think he should have tested the FA market.
