So....Athletes play different sports all the time. Look at Romo and the PGA. Athletes like to play sports.

 

One event in the off-season is hardly retiring and spending an entire season in the minor's. Bottom line, he used his name and status to fill the Baron's stadium on a nightly basis. The exact things you guys don't think he'd do.

No I didn't. I said he would use them. Then I said he may not use them exactly the same but in some capacity. He's STILL using them, like I stated.

 

My reasoning, LBJ and others like OchoCinco Tweet themselves. I could see Jordan having someone Tweet for him. Or an entire organization dedicated to Tweeting for him. Still using it, just a bit differently.

Can't imagine LeBron going to NJ all by his lonesome. If he were to go there, I'd imagine they'd also try to bring either Boozer or Lee in. I could very easily see him going to the Knicks to team with Amare. Has Mike Miller signed yet? I could see him being a great fit on a Knicks team with LeBron, Amare, and Gallardo (sp?).

He treats his fans the best of about any superstar of his status I can remember. When do you ever see him being a straight up stiff or giving the fans a cold shoulder? I know when you compare him to Mike and Kobe he looks like a saint. Both of them always seem so obnoxious, Lebron at least tries to have a good personality.

 

I had the opportunity to meet LeBron twice, and he does seem like a legitimately good guy. He doesn't do it anymore but his first few years in the league he would sign autographs for the fans, and I never saw any kid get turned down that was close enough to him. He's a decently friendly guy. He's no Chad OchoCinco, but he doesn't seem that bad at all.

 

Cool story though, the first time I saw LeBron in the NBA his rookie year we were down in the section of the Q they let fans come down to before games to take pictures and get autographs. I was the first person he came over to and he took my ticket out of my hand. I was 15 at the time and super-immature so I told him to wait so I could take my jersey off and get it signed. I gave it to him and he put it on his arm and started signing autographs for people. He then started to leave for the lockerroom and I yelled at him that he still had my jersey. He nodded and tossed it back to me......with no autograph :lol:.

 

Just wondering...but why would that end it?

 

1. I hate Pat Riley, he is a snake.

2. I hate DWade. He's a ball hog and he wants everyone to come to him.

3. If he's going to leave it might as well be for Chicago. I go still go there and watch him a few times a year :lol:.

 

I don't know how Lebron acts personally and off the court but when it comes to basketball related stuff he is quite immature.

Dancing on the court is the coolest thing LeBron does. Basketball is a game and he's having fun. I don't see what the problem is with it. Do you say the same thing when others do things to show off a little bit?

 

My only beef with it is that I believe LeBron is too good to be bring himself to that level. I have no doubt he is having fun, but Superstars I put on a different level. No need to taunt, dance, or flex all the time.

I don't think Jordan would have used them or would have needed them.

Hold on, Wade is terrible for staying in Miami and wanting good players to come to him, but LeBron isn't by staying in Cleveland (if he chooses to do so)?

1. He has tried to recruit LeBron to play with him in Miami. Realistically if they team up it should be in a neutral setting for both of their legacies IMO.

Can we admit that Bosh is not in the same class of basketball player or marketability as LeBron and DWade? That's how it's different.

 

I just don't think he's capable of being a #2 guy. He puts up good assist numbers but he has a higher usage the ball more than any other player in the league statistically. I don't just think it's with the Heat either. He shoots alot on the Olympic team and (though its not a real game) all-star games. And I hate DWade.

A lot of ESPN personalities are having fun with this. Tweeting what time they will announce what there having for dinner.

I don't care if he's the center of attention or not. But, others do. If he wins a title in Miami people are going to keep hating on him and detracting from him.

 

I could care less about that. If I had my way he'd stay with the Cavs even though they'll most likely never put another good player beside him.

 

As for DWade, like I said he's one of my least favorite players in the NBA.
