MountainThunder
I know I'm about 30 years behind the times on watching it...but I just rented and watched "Das Boot" for the first time. What a GREAT movie. 209 minuted of subtitles can make things kind of rough for some folks, but I thought the writing, directing and acting were all pretty fantastic and made the subtitles easy to overcome. In my book, it's head and shoulders above "Hunt For Red October" and "Crimson Tide" as far as submarine movies go . I saw this movie on campus my freshman or sophomore year at Hanover. I was blown away. GREAT movie!

UKMustangFan
Was plesantly surprised by a foreign film I watched yesterday off Netflix, "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo". Very good film. Be warned however, it is all in subtitles, and is roughly two and a half hours long.

It was very entertaining for a movie I had never even heard of. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0887883/
