May 9, 201016 yr Commentator/analyst Jeff Van Gundy said that Rajon Rondo's performance in today's Boston Celtics victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers might be one of the greatest individual games by a player in NBA playoff history. The last graphic I saw with under a minute left, had Rondo with 27 points, 17 rebounds, and 13 assists. Tremendous performance by the former UK point guard.
May 9, 201016 yr He may be the most underrated player in the league. He never gets mentioned with Paul or Williams or Rose, but he has helped his team to a ring and he is a better defender than all of those guys. I really think he gets overlooked tremndously when folks talk about the Celtics. I understand why because the Big 3 are all potential HOFers. The Big 3 can't beat Cleveland if Rondo isn't spectacular. Pierce struggles, Allen struggles and Rondo can make up for it because he can do so much to help a team win.

His FTs are much better in the playoffs and his mid-range game is leaps and bounds better than it was two years ago. The three still isn't falling, but I won't hold that against him.
May 10, 201016 yr Many have said that he was the Celtics's best player this year. I believe this game will put the haters to rest. He had 17 rebounds and he is maybe 6 feet tall!!! He just has a great feel to the game.
May 10, 201016 yr Amazing performance. His shot has come a long way and his FT shooting has improved a great deal as well. He is top 3 PG in the league and I seriously consider him as the best in the NBA.

Deron Williams is the best IMO, but Nash, Rondo and CP3 are my next for in any order. I'd love to see anyone's list who doesn't have Rondo in the top 5, I think he's the new Jason Kidd....oh wait Rondo actually won a championship :lol:.

May 10, 201016 yr 29 points, 18 rebounds and 13 assists. Wow is the correct term. Rondo was 'da man' last night. He is already #2 in Celtics history for career postseason triple doubles behind (you guessed it, Larry Bird). That was a simply amazing performance.
