May 11, 201016 yr Will LeBron be able to stop him tonight? If so does Pierce finally have a big game. Or does it hurt LeBron's offensive production? Rondo, did not fit well in KY's program, but I knew he had the makings of a great pro.
May 11, 201016 yr Well does last nites performace change your mind at all. The way he played last nite derek fisher may be better. I recently read this article on yahoo that talked about being efficent it took into account every stat an cp3 beat lebron by a close margin d-wade was 6 an kobe was 12 I'm not even going to dignify the bolded with a response with a response. BBall, you're the guy that still tries to convince people that Kobe is still better than LeBron. Deron Williams has been the best PG in the league this year, especially in the 2nd half of the season. He beat down the Nuggets with a injury-plagued squad, and kept the Jazz in every game of this series even though the they were severely undermanned and outsized. And there is no stat in the league that says anyone is more efficient all-around than LeBron, including CP3. The dude had the highest PER rating since Jordan's year of 33, 8 and 8 this year. So I don't know how seriously I would take that article. No last night does not change my opinion, if anything else it confirms why DWill is the best PG in the league IMO. I love CP3, but every time the two match up, I repeat EVERY time they match up Deron Williams destroys him. CP3 is great, but Williams gives you alot more IMO and it's not even close. BBall, you're my boy but I can't take what you said seriously if you took this series against the Lakers in a negative light for Deron Williams. What more could he have done? Boozer and Milsap got eaten alive by the bigger and better Lakers front line. Miles, Matthews, and Korver had to match up with Kobe and Artest. Where is the logic in anything that you said?:idunno: If you want to say CP3 is better, go ahead. But, don't use the Lakers series as justification because that makes absolutely no sense. The Jazz got beat by a better team, and there is nothing anyone could have done about that.
May 12, 201016 yr While I don't watch much NBA at all, I watched a good deal of the game Sunday, and Rondo's performance was incredible to the point that I got chills on several plays. You guys should read Bill Simmons' most recent column. He spends a great deal of time detailing how big Rondo's game was in the grand scheme of things. Sports Guy on the NBA 2nd Round
