Wireman
If you invite John the Baptist to do your commencement speech, don't get mad if he preaches... If you invite Jeff Foxworthy, don't get mad if he tells jokes... And now we've learned: if you invite Robert Montgomery Knight, don't get mad when he cusses your graduates all to pieces  Trine University had Knight speaking this morning and he dropped about 10 "unfortunate" words during his speech... Wireman
Is anyone surprised? I can't post video here, but its' pretty funny. He has a good speech all except for ignoring the fact that there are obviously children in the audience
Jumper_Dad
This is as shocking a headline as "Squirel climbs tree" would be. Who wouda thunk it?
AHSPanther23
This is as shocking a headline as "Squirel climbs tree" would be. Who wouda thunk it? I was thinking more on the lines of a headline "The Sky is Blue". Not surprised that he cussed a bunch of graduates.
Clyde
I heard a portion of the speech from the beginning and the part I heard is not "cusses a group." Maybe he did later.
Irish Cat
I think a less misleading title would have been "Bob Knight delivers commencement address which includes a few profane words."

Wireman
Way to go Coach!!! Yeah way to make an idiot out of yourself in front of children :thumb: I generally like Bobby Knight, but to be such a tool that you can't appropriately direct your speech to the crowd is pathetic. I'll admit that I wouldn't think twice about his 4-letter words; I actually thought it was a tremendous speech. I'd feel differently if I were sitting in the crowd with my two kids that are 6 and 3.
