May 4, 201016 yr Reds are 13-13 Louisville Bats are 9-17 Didn't know which one you wanted  The Reds but thanks for the Bats update anyways.
May 4, 201016 yr Good win, hopefully we'll see the good Bronson tomorrow. A couple of thoughts. 1. Caberra has been pretty solid in the field, but does anybody else think his range is very limited these days. 2. So far this year Herrera has been much tougher on righties than he has lefties. A reverse of fortune from last year.
May 4, 201016 yr Good game to be at. I don't believe for a second that there were 14,000 there tonight. Heisey made a few good plays defensively. Leake deserved another W tonight. It was fun to watch Massets ERA dropping with each out.
May 4, 201016 yr 1. Caberra has been pretty solid in the field, but does anybody else think his range is very limited these days.I've been reading that for about a year or two ... I'm sure it's one reason that he was available over the winter.
May 4, 201016 yr You don't say. Only fair to say he stinks when he pitches well to equal out the "he stinks" when he struggles...
May 4, 201016 yr Author I've been reading that for about a year or two ... I'm sure it's one reason that he was available over the winter. That and he has big time attitude problems or he supposedly did in his time with the White Sox. Came across as a "me first" kinda guy at times.
May 4, 201016 yr That and he has big time attitude problems or he supposedly did in his time with the White Sox. Came across as a "me first" kinda guy at times. He seemed to be well-received in Minnesota last year, as I recall, but the Twins seemed to be looking for younger, cheaper and better defense.
May 4, 201016 yr That and he has big time attitude problems or he supposedly did in his time with the White Sox. Came across as a "me first" kinda guy at times. That doesn't sound at all like the Cabrerra the Reds media has talked about.
May 4, 201016 yr Author That doesn't sound at all like the Cabrerra the Reds media has talked about. It very well could have just been a bad fit for him in Chicago, we see that with players where some places don't work. Goodness knows the Reds have struggled to find consistensy at the SS position. It would be nice if he could stay healthy and have a nice year.
May 4, 201016 yr Author Arroyo has won four consecutive starts against the Mets while posting a 2.32 ERA, and threw a four-hitter the last time he faced them - a 3-0 win July 10 in New York. John Maine (1-1, 7.15) has lost all three of his career starts against the Reds, with a 9.88 ERA. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/preview;_ylt=AsgDq3hsnMx7Nknq4_nBCIDbzYd4?gid=300504117
May 4, 201016 yr ^ He was hitting .241 in Louisville so it shouldn't be a surprise if he comes up and struggles. He hit 314 last year and over his last 11 games before being called up hit .298. How about Masset tonight HT?
