July 15, 201016 yr Interesting stat of the day: NBA Free Agency Updates: 1,849 Views Jonathan Ferguson Updates: 5,948 Views  Just because you open it that many times doesn't mean the world is waiting. I really think you have an inflated view of yourself. Don't you see the absurdity of saying you know something, but can't reveal it? That is what five year olds do. Nobody cares that you have a basketball site, if they did, they would get their information from your site, instead, they come on BGP to get information, not supposed inuendo. We are now down to 6 posters who seem to care at all what Ferguson is doing. My point is very simple, if you don't have anything to add, then don't say you do. Many of us know plenty of coaches and sources, and there is a huge difference between having a workout and having an offer, especially from a d1 school.
July 15, 201016 yr I stopped caring along time ago...No, it's not a big deal who he had offers from over a year ago and it looks to me like somebodys' ego is a bit larger than it should be. I used to be a fan of Elliot Co. and even rooted for them at Rupp, but this is a bit much. Edited July 15, 201016 yr by spindoc

Keep up the good work :thumb:
July 15, 201016 yr One thing for sure, I know Dale very well. He is one of my siblings. I told him what you said and he said he wasn't 100% sure about you but Westsider and a few others are the reason's for the cloak and dagger stuff. Most of the time any thing good was posted about Ferg it was disputed and contradicted and people saying he cant play here, there, or anywhere and he got tired of it. He is convinced that if any offers were posted from the past or now they would be ripped apart and Jonathan would be back in the bashing spotlight, so until he signs i guess you will have to wait. He did say that Ferg scrimmaged in open gym today with a D2 team along with some pro players from over seas and the coaches were very pleased even though he was out of shape. Dales sibling. Ummm, ok. So, that would make you Chip? Dales liaison. Interesting.
July 15, 201016 yr Hey Dale is what really made the Elliott County teams special, those opposing student body sections didn't rag on the Lions they made signs at and yelled things at Dale. It was hilarious! Dale Ferguson is a really standup person and a person you should actually talk to before you get an opinion of. Or maybe you all are just jealous you can't get the attention he gets or have never been in the limelight like he has. Hey the man is starting to get Richie status in this state, statewide recognition by first name only! And for those who say those teams didn't deserve the recognition they got stop and think: how long will we live before we ever see anything like it again? A town as small as Sandy Hook producing that kind of talent is like winning the lottery twice in the same year. People the odds are very small! Like it or not, and the majority on here won't like it, the names Ferguson, Faulkner and Knipp will go down in KY basketball lore and the Elliott County Lions will be one of our most talked about teams!

You guys really are paranoid. Elliot County has already vanished, as Shelby Valley-a very small school won the A and the Sweet 16 in the same season-2010!!
July 15, 201016 yr Wow this guy must feel really popular! 5 pages for a d2 basketball player. College Basketball must be a bit dead now huh?

Sorry to burst your cute little bubble but when the name Dale is said in this state people think of the Bluebirds of Highlands. Not the basketball coach from the mountains and Elliott Cty. And when they lost to Holmes it showed that athleticism will always prevail over unathletic shooters. Sad but true.

You have really lost it if you put Richie and Ferguson in the same breath. Let's see, a state title and runner-up finish where he scored 52, along with the full ride to UK. And that is just the beginning. Or no state titles, no All A titles, no college experience. As for the EC schedule, out of their 27 game regular season schedule, they played 3 solid teams (Anderson, Ballard, Mason), none of which were on the road, well one neutral site. You would think they would have played a few solid opponents on the road, instead of playing many 16th teams twice. Again, I hope I am wrong and I wish no ill will. I just find it absolutely amazing that its 6 weeks before school starts and there is no commitment. You don't see that out of guys out of high school, let alone someone who takes a year off. Typically, colleges dont wait that long and many times their players are already on campus.

July 15, 201016 yr Not to mention his name on our gas pumps. Haha yes indeed! This is getting really off topic and not about the subject line anymore. Lets move on please!
