I don't see the big issue. I for one hope he finds a school. There's nothing wrong with calling around to schools and going to play pick up games in hopes of playing again.

Yeah to answer an above question people do care! I think this thread is a testament to just how big Kentucky high school basketball is and the following we put on our standout teams/players. As far as Bellermine what's there roster like or more importantly what's the offense like? Can't see Ferg in a slow paced offense!!!!!!

Just because you open it that many times doesn't mean the world is waiting. I really think you have an inflated view of yourself. Don't you see the absurdity of saying you know something, but can't reveal it? That is what five year olds do. Nobody cares that you have a basketball site, if they did, they would get their information from your site, instead, they come on BGP to get information, not supposed inuendo. We are now down to 6 posters who seem to care at all what Ferguson is doing. My point is very simple, if you don't have anything to add, then don't say you do. Many of us know plenty of coaches and sources, and there is a huge difference between having a workout and having an offer, especially from a d1 school.

 

You clearly don't know Wireman or anything about him. You're way off base if you think he has an inflated view of himself. He is one of the nicer guys you'll ever meet. I am a Rowan County fan, but have obviously kept up with the Elliott County kids and I'll say this - you're wrong about Ferguson, as well. Ferguson is a good kid that was "in love" heading into college. He made a mistake and opted not to play for a season. Now, he has the love of basketball back and has been working out hard.

Very regional. Dale may = EC guy in Northeastern KY, but in my neck of the woods, if you referred to someone only as Dale, you'd likely get one of two reactions. Either a "Dale who?" response and a puzzled look or a quick wipe of a tear from the eye, a #3 sign and some comment about Earnhardt.

Love or not, does not change the fact that he's 5-10 or 5-11. I think that's been the biggest challenge along with the year off. His height and not being able to play the point position will be the biggest hurdle. Hope he finds the right fit and today plays better in open gym if they have one.

Have NEVER said a bad word about the kid Ferguson. I think Wireman is propping himself up by saying he has all these connections and the signing will be happening soon. It doesn't matter who you are, after sitting out a year, for whatever the reason, your stock is going to drop.

 

I don't think there is a poster on here who is down on the player. I think there are several of us that are very tired of all the HYPE of where he is going to sign, when it looks more and more to be a smaller type of school.

So you can defend it all you want, but THIS YEAR on this thread the hype has been going on for three months.
