Mr. Tackett will be announced as the new commish, from what I have been told! congrats to the new KHSAA Commissioner.

However, Tackett probably deserves a shot.

Julian has some different ideas ... and the one thing that I feel comfortable with--is that he has always been willing to listen--and look for common ground.

 

I just wonder if it is time for outside politics to come into play.

 

There are way too many people who seem to think that the KHSAA plays dirty ... and what people need to realize is that a LOT of people are always going to live and communicate that thought. Can't wait to see the winner!

Moore was also the head baseball coach at Corbin in the early 80's.

Tackett has certainly paid his dues and is certainly knowledgable of KHSAA workings.

 

In many areas the hands of the KHSAA are tied, limiting the power of the commissioner and the group.

 

Hopefully, Julien Tackett will be a vocal, visable, effective commissioner.

Congrats on Tackett being named the next commissioner. Tackett deserves it.

I just hope Tim Moore doesn't get it, his values aren't what many would think and that is all I will say. Both other ones seem like they would fit in very good to the job.
