Three finalists vying to be next KHSAA commissioner

Featured Replies

I think the Moore you're referring to is not Tim, but Marvin Moore. He is superintendent at Rowan Schools and is a former referee.

I'm sure there will be a lady involved somewhere in the hiring at the KHSAA office, if they don't they will have problems. So after someone moves up to the assistant commish, then someone(a female) will be hired.

Hiring Tackett really sounds like a big change with the KHSAA. Who are we kidding? The more things change, the more things stay the same.

Congrats on Tackett being named the next commissioner. Tackett deserves it.

Could Tim Moore be the next assistant commissioner? :sssh:

Nope, it will be a lady.

Moore is from Morehead so once or if he leaves Maysville his ties will probably end. Tim Moore was Kelly Wells high school coach at Rowan County in the late eighties. Moore and Wells made three trips to the Sweet Sixteen and dominated the region during their time.
Tim Moore was raised on Buckner st..That's on the east end of Maysville. He moved from here I think, after he graduated. His brother still lives here. So,I doubt his ties will end.
