:thumb: That is is biggest problem IMO. He throwing about 5 or 6 pitches but need can't throw them over the plate. Cut down to your best 3 or so for now.

Bailey has the stuff to dominate out there. If he could just harness his control a little better he'd be very tough. I think he'll start to settle down as the season goes along and be a quality starter for the Reds this year.

It took him a while to get in the groove last year too. It's been 2 starts. Talk to me after 10 then I might be worried.

We should also be patient with Chapman and keep things in perspective. I think he walked two batters against Toledo. The Toledo manager said that his pitching would have resulted in 7 or 8 walks against MLB batters. Lets not rush the kid.

I know Greinke had an amazing year last year and probably could have won 20 had he been with a decent team, but one good year doesn't make him a top 10 pitcher in baseball.

 

I'm pulling for Homer, he had all the pressure in the world of being the savior and it would be great to see him develop and eventually win 15 games consistently. If Homer can get 30 starts this year, we will hopefully know a lot more about him, good or bad.
