April 16, 201016 yr Have the innings caught up with Aaron? He seems to have hit a wall the last few years and can't recover. Everyone talked about that "infamous" San Diego extra inning game he pitched in. But it very well could be that he doesn't have much left in the tank. Looking at his stats, he threw a career high 231 innings in 2007 and just hasn't been the same since. 6-17 in 2008 6-14 in 2009

They have the most strikeouts in the National League and the 2nd fewest walks. Their team OBP is .298, next to last in the league. Those numbers aren't conducive to scoring a lot of runs.

April 17, 201016 yr While his numbers are not gonna be sparkling tonight, I still love Leake's presence out on the mound. Struggling as much as he did early, to not only battle through it, but keep his team in the game and giving the Reds a much needed 7 innings. It's always said that it's easy to pitch well when you have a big lead or when things are going your way, the kid has faced big time adversity his first two starts and has gotten through it. That says A LOT.
