Poor tourney this year for Big East. Still best overall league in the country IMO. Only one elite 8 team this year, a lot different than the 4 out of 8 last year.

I agree with a comment I saw from you the other day. Big East was probably better 1-16 this season, but no where near as strong at the top. That's been evident the last week.

 

Nova and Gtown really were hard to figure out.

The Big East had a poor showing in the tournament. That in no way changes the fact that it was the best league in College Basketball.

Amazing that the best, most legit team in the BEast did not get a one seed. Doubt people will give them the SEC (football) treatment next year. Just a deep league with good teams.

Why do you say that? The only conference with more in the sweet 16 is the Big 11. Aside from that, they had as many as anyone else. I don't base season on the outcome of a win or go home tourney. In general, it's the best conference. Maybe not the best individual teams, obviously not this year.

Congrats though to Coach Huggins, who's back in the Elite Eight for the first time in what, 14 years? Might be a little sweeter considering the injury they had to overcome this week. But, I'll bet he'll be preaching to his team that they shouldn't be satisfied with it!
