This is going to be an even more exciting season, now that we "went to Jared." *

No surprise here; knew it would eventually happen. What a great young man, and going back to where he played to teach the young men of Highlands. I only wish him the best, and Highlands gained a great person and coach. JD

How the heck did that leak out? Nobody was supposed to know.

Some people don't realize the amount of time it takes to be a great coach. They think that is just a couple of hours after school and thats it. People that have been there and done that know better. Highlands football didn't get to the level they are , by coaches just coaching a couple of hours after school.( Sorry if I let the cat (bird) out of the bag)

Speaking from experience-it takes alot more than that. Coachs meetings after practice-film after games until 2:30 in the morning-Film again on Sunday afternoon-countless hours spent in clinics. We all do it for the love of the game not the pennys we make.

That is funny! You know he is just a big boy because watching HHS boys work out you would think they have a bunch of track and underwear models. My son jokes now that the 60 program is going to be his way into a young girls heart....

This was a good move for everybody involved. :thumb:
