Jared Lorenzen New QB Coach at Highlands

It was probably a poor choice of words. I guess it's months earlier in the year when you are not out on the field everyday. Though it's true those guys are working out during this time, but there is a little time, though very little to do other types of training.

There are probably 5 weeks out of the year that Highlands football is not doing something. I'm going to say the 3 weeks after the state game and the 2 weeks of dead period. However, many of the kids take it upon themselves to workout during those weeks.

Congratulations to Jared and to Bluebird nation. He represented all of northern Kentucky very well when he played for Highlands, as a Wildcat, and on to the NFL. The Highlands players seem to stay pretty motivated. If the need would arise for some extra motivation, I suspect Coach Mueller will be up to the task. To the extent he needs some help in that area, he might ask Jared to wear his Super Bowl ring to a practice or two. :thumb:

Haha! Yeah I guess that could work as well.

WOW! Must be some good home cooking because the kids don't gain weight in Dales conditioning program.

That is Patrick Towles in the background of this picture. This link may not stay up long.

Wow, what a great hire.
