There are too many that have little or no understanding of how our government is too work. They know a bit of history and like the 'pigs' in "Animal Farm" they twist the meaning in whatever direction they want it to go and make-up situations to fit their needs.

So...because some don't agree with you, you assume that they are lacking in knowledge? Much of what is being touted as "legitimate" reasons for opposition is hyperbole...conjecture if you will. Maybe those people are like the chicken in "Chicken Little", if we're comparing to literature. (Not saying Chicken Little is the literary masterpiece that Animal Farm is, but it is a book.) OR, maybe some need to read "Who Moved My Cheese".....

I used "Animal Farm" because it is an example of the 'living constitution' philosophy that some have. Ignore the law (rules), change the laws to fit your needs to keep youself in power. If they are such great ideas, follow the rules. The AGs of several states have it right, the health bill is unconstitutional, unless you believe in the 'living constitution' philosophy.

I don't believe that it is a violation.

 

I used "Who Moved My Cheese" for the simple reason that some of the mice in the book are an example of people who are resistant to change, refusing to consider expanding their horizons, in anticipation that if they refuse to change, everything will return to the way they are used to.

It's a classic in mine as well.

This bill is unconstitutional and flies in the face of the 10th amendment. The liberals are trying hard to usher in socialism and it is doomed to failure. Our children will be burdened with so much debt they will never get out. The entitlement mindset is very addictive and as dangerous as any narcotic. This is not a good thing for our country.

If life were a right there would be no abortions allowed.
