Give me Ballard. i think it will be close and competitive, but I think Ballard's depth will be the key. At the end of the night I do not think Justice will have enough help to get it done. Ballard pulls away in the second half and wins by 10pts.

Ballard has had three really tough games. Is that a plus, a minus, or neutral? Ballard's playerrs can really jump. Don't know if SV can handle them down low. Prediction: B pulls away late to get the win.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Shelby Valley would not only be the first All A Champ to win the Sweet 16, but they're the first one to even make the championship game, yes?

Honest question: Do you really think they'll win, or do you want them to win and so pick them? I've seen both, and I see no reason to believe that Shelby Valley will win.

BTW, setting aside who I think is better, the reality is that it's matchups at this point. Ballard and Warren Central are mirror images. Both are athletic and deep. Ballard is more athletic and much deeper than Shelby Valley.

If the situations are even I believe Ballard wins fairly easily. But Ballard has had to play against 3 really good teams (3 teams IMO that would beat the 3 teams Shelby Valley has played soundly). Shelby Valley has had an easy road to the championship game (the easiest I have ever seen). Ballard has had knock down drag outs with Warren Central and Scott Co. I just worry about Ballard being a little wore down with the level of competition they have had to play compared to Shelby Valley.

Shelby Valley played the late game this morning, so I think that offsets Ballards tougher games.

I thought most people would have SV ahead of WC before the tournment. But this board is kind of crazy sometimes they had Shelby Valley ranked 13th in the final poll.

I agree that Ballard has the edge with athletism and bench, but Shelby Valley is a little bigger and I think more skills.

I just wonder what people would base Shelby Valley being over Central on prior to the tourney? They ran roughshod over some pretty shoddy competition, and before they beat J-Town, I think DeSales was their biggest win. Central did not always win the games against top competition, but they had several more quality wins than did SV. LexCath, Christian County, Tates Creek, Bowling Green (twice). All wins over teams that were considered better teams than Shelby Valley's best win. Their only common opponent was Christian County, with both teams playing CC at home. SV lost, WC won. Given how far Christian County had to travel in there, I think that speaks volumes.

I have a feeling that SV is going to keep it close for some reason. I think the game is going to be decided by 5 points or less. Just a hunch.
