Who wins the state title???

Would love to see Shelby Valley win, but I see Ballard winning by 10+.

Honest question: Do you really think they'll win, or do you want them to win and so pick them? I've seen both, and I see no reason to believe that Shelby Valley will win.

I hope Valley wins, but Ballard has way to much speed and all 5 players can take it to the rim.

Ballard is very good, no doubt, but don't count Shelby Valley out, they CAN win, they will just have to play very well and not make a lot of mistakes.

I think you are correct. I would like to see Shelby Valley to pull off this feat!

I expect Ballard to win but I like both teams so I will not be upset if Shelby Valley wins. I wonder if Shelby Valley can handle Ballard's athleticism. Seeing as how they lost by 2 at home to Christian County makes me think Ballard will win. It is the Sweet 16 though so I think it will be a close game and I expect a good game. Good luck to both teams. I have enjoyed watching Justice, Jones and Chiles so I am excited.

I think depth might be an issue as well in this one. Ballard runs deeper anyway, and Shelby Valley will have less rest.

True blue SV fan here guys and their is a bunch of us walking around Lexington right now on cloud nine. I just saw people shedding tears they are so happy for this team. There are matchup problems for SV and i worry about their legs tonight as Ballard is much deeper. SV must start well and keep it close and get the crowd behind them. Like his game or not Justice has played his tail off through this tourney. KSR is comparing it to the old Ballard versus Clay county games. This team is not scared and will not back down. Ballard is very impressive and I just hope SV can keep it close enough to have a chance at the end.

What's the over/under on attendance tonight? With the UK game starting at 8:15 I think it will be kind of low.

I will also let you all know that there will be a first tonight in the State Championship. I can't come straight out and tell you, but I can give you a hint: It has to do with one of the officials.
