I yelled worse at the TV when Marq just lost. :irked:

I just said worse than that in casual conversation... I have a bit of a potty mouth. :idunno:

IF IF IF the cats shoot like that the whole tourny you can mail the trophy to Lexington.

You got that right.

When cameras are that close to the action with the mics on during live tv, cussing should be expected. It's not like he looked in the camera and cussed.

Orton said that he was fine after the game in an interview that is up cat scratchers. He also apologized for the language via Twitter.

Sit behind the bench at Rupp during the Sweet 16 and you will hear much worse.......and very often...............

Very impressive performance by UK, can't really be any criticism, other than the fact the starters played a lot of useless minutes. I imagine it's much ado about nothing, but nonetheless it was a risk. I am sure it will pay off for them.

Wall and Bledsoe combine to go 11-13 from 3.

If they could shoot at or around 60% from the 3 for the remainder of the tournament I think UK would win it's 8th title and probably do so by 10 points every game.

We had this conversation tonight while watching the game. My opinion was that , it is the end of the season. You HAVE to play the starters for multiple reasons.

1. You don't get the same amount of practice time & cannot afford to take a day off, so to speak.

2. The more familiar / comfortable with the arena they are, the better off the team is.

3. You do not take any chances of letting the opponent get back into the game.

I probably would've taken them out a few minutes earlier, but to each his own. Hood got some action early on, which was a bit surprising. Stevenson & Harris could've come in much earlier & Kentucky would have still won comfortably. But, it was big for Bledsoe to go 8/9 from 3. That really builds his confidence & gives Wake something else to defend.

All in all, Cats took care of business.

Next up: Wake Forest @ 8:15 Saturday night.

Thought the CATS gave the most impressive performance of all the teams I watched today (which was all of them). Glad they fired a bullet today. Feel great about Saturday night. I really hope we dismantle Wake like we did when Mr. Duncan was there.

Bledsoe is climbing up the Draft Boards at a face pace.

Congrats UK

I'd prefer the way we did when Rodney Rogers was there. Even more dominant performance. :thumb:

Alas, Dave Odom is no longer at Wake so I don't expect that.

Absolutely! I remember the buildup for that game UK vs Wake Forest, Mashburn vs Rogers. And the Cats came out firing on all cylinders. That was one of those games that was over in the first 5-10 minutes. UK was turning defense into offense at a feverish pace. I would LOVE to see another performance like that.
