#5 Johnny Bench :thumb:

Eric Davis

Chris Sabo...........I had the goggles when I was younger when he played for the Reds.

Big Klu , Ted Kluszewski .When I was 10 in 1957 I won a Bike , a Reds Uniform (my size ) , 3 Gloves ( fielders , Catchers and First baseman ), a bat and a box of balls in a Name Kluszewski's Bat contest . I called it The Bleacher Reacher . As I remember there was about 5 other winners we all named it the same and one of the kids got to be on the Ruth Lyons Show to get his prizes . I didn't care about that , and needless to say I was popular in the neighborhood pick up games since I could supply most of the equiptment . I still have the fielders glove a Gus Bell signature model the catchers mitt was a Bill Dickey model . Got to meet Big Klu and Waite Hoyt when I got my prizes . Broke my heart when they traded him to Pittsburgh in '58

The most exciting player in the last 40 years was Eric the Red.

I'd add Sean Casey as well.

Hard not to like all the Nasty Boys (Charlton, Dibble, Meyers)

I know they were not as good as many of the people already mentioned, but I liked the way these guys played (hurt, but always hustled), but still legit MLB players:

Eddie Talbensee

Scott Sullivan

Pete Harnish

Ron Gant

Concepcion

Perez

Rose

Bench

Eric Davis
