If he moved to Lincoln Co then he would be eligible by the bylaw.

Boyle should do it the Highlands way: play the kid if and when the courts say he's eligible, and not play him when the courts say he's ineligible. Of course that only makes common sense to those with even just a little common sense and is lost on the rest.

I know this is la la land talk, but if I were head coach, I would tell the player up front that if he is ruled ineligible by the KHSAA, I will not play him period. I don't care if there is a court injunction that says he can play. Because that is all the court injunction says ... that the KHSAA's ruling is stayed until the court makes its own decision. That does not prevent a head coach of a team from not playing a player. I would tell the player that I will not jeopardize the season for all the other players for one player. Or he has to get a court injunction that tells me I must play him because I am not going to personally override the KHSAA ruling.

On my previous post, never mind :lol: I was just reminded that the rules have been changed and the KHSAA now can not sanction a school for playing a player under a court injunction. :confused: Sorry about that.
