Opening Day

Featured Replies

How many Opening Day's have you been to? How many in a row?

Where do you get tickets? Anybody have a hookup?

I've been to a few in a row...probably three. Not many. I'm currently looking for tickets, if anyone has any or knows of anyone who has some to sell.

I can't wait. Hopefully the weather is nicer this year than last. :irked:

I've been to 1, the 1977 Opening Day. I had 4 tickets to game 7 of the World Series in 76, but alas didn't get to use them. So I got 5 tickets to Opening Day. Was a senior in high school, it snowed that morning (about 2 to 3 in.). School was on a 2 hr. dlay so we ditched and froze our butts off. Seats were in the red reserved boxes out in left center.

I've been to 8 overall and the last 4. Unfortunately unless I can find someone selling tix reasonably that streak will end this year.

I have been to about 6... its usually freezing or raining.

The weather is normally horrible, but it's always a good time.

I have been to 3 out of the last 4 but I can't find any tickets this year. :irked:

Never been to Opening Day, but since they play the Cards this year I am thinking about going.

I've been to 3, or 2 depending on how you want to count it. One of them was in 1990 when the Reds had to open on the road, but I was at their opener at home against the Padres.

I'm not sure how many I have been to. Over 10 I would say. I've been when it has snowed, rained, warm and sunny, and unfortunately the game where the umpire passed away.

I believe this will be my 6th year in a row. And I'm thinking the weather was really nice for one of those years. The others were cold and/or rainy. However, I'll be there, rain or shine.

This will be my 15th straight.

I've never made it to an Opening Day, but one of my brothers and I are thinking about getting the Reds Power Pack ticket package...it guarantees Opening Day tickets.

I spent a lot of time looking at Power Pack Options yesterday.

Let me just say that it's a rip off. All of the good deals are already sold out.

1991

I've been to 2 of them. Last year it was rainy and miserable, and the other when I was younger and the umpire passed away and I didn't get to go to the makeup game.
