February 17, 201016 yr What exactly are people trying to dig? I guess to make themselves better about UK winning, I have no clue. It wasn't the best officiating game, and both sides got some shady calls. It did not decide the outcome of the game...Get over it.
February 17, 201016 yr The fans were very good for the majority of the game until that point. Pretty sad to see it end that way but fans need to learn how to act better in those situations. Universities need zero tolerance for that kind of behavior as well.
February 17, 201016 yr Charge could have gone either way, looked like the dude was going down before he touched him. How about Bost getting blocked then grabbing the ball before it went out of bounds? The goal tend was a huge break but a good win in a very hostile environment. The foul on Wall when he double clutched wasn't good as well. All ball. Glad to see UK escape with a win in a very hostile environment but dont tell me they didn't benefit from the calls down the stretch. Or take off the blue-colored glasses when you do say it.
February 17, 201016 yr Cousins was shaking hands with the players from Mississippi St. and one player shrugged off Cousins, and Cousins asked "You're not going to shake my hand"? and the player responded "No" then Cousins moved on but the Miss. St. player kept saying something to him. Check my above post. I read his lips right before the camera went off him.
February 17, 201016 yr A complete lack of class for Mississippi State fans. They really showed their true colors tonight. I now will have no respect for the fans after that. Great win by the Cats! Was not pretty but a win is a win...25-1
February 17, 201016 yr #45 is Elgin Bailey and he never shook Cousins hand and was mouthing the whole time. Why? Did I miss something?
February 17, 201016 yr What can MSU do to prevent bottles from being thrown at players and refs on the floor? Serve all beverages in paper cups.
February 17, 201016 yr Did anyone see Coach Cal saying something to the UK fans behind UK's bench during Liggins free throws. Right after the stuff was thrown on the court he started yelling something to the UK fans behind the bench. Looked like he was talking to 1 guy. Just wondering....
February 17, 201016 yr Great win for my cats on the road in front of record crowd? 2 questions: Why was UK wearing white uniforms on the road? What can MSU do to prevent bottles from being thrown at players and refs on the floor? 1. MSU wanted to wear black so UK wore white. 2. No relations between 1st cousins, sisters, or mom's.
February 17, 201016 yr But is it really obvious when full speed motion? I think that is very hard call and the refs got it wrong. Maybe from their angle I agree, but seeing it in live action I thought it was a goal tending to begin with. Hindsight is 20/20 though.
February 17, 201016 yr Its over and it wasn't pretty. I think watching the tape would make me sick. Glad Starkville showed the country what they are. With the way college game is played and officiated it's hard to look pretty. How many pretty games have you seen this season?
February 17, 201016 yr The foul on Wall when he double clutched wasn't good as well. All ball. Glad to see UK escape with a win in a very hostile environment but dont tell me they didn't benefit from the calls down the stretch. Or take off the blue-colored glasses when you do say it. I thought there were calls that were horrible both ways. The one I remember being most upset with was the foul on Wall for the putback that gave MSU the lead late. He never touched him from the above camera, or below. However Scribe I agree with you. I think UK benefited greatly, greatly from the calls in the OT. :thumb:
February 17, 201016 yr I'm not going to blast the entire MSU fan base over 10 morons. Agree. I know how that feels as a part of this fan base.
