October 13, 201213 yr I've been looking for the Oracle but no luck. I'm sipping on some Against the Grain Noho Motueka. It's an IPA with New Zealand hops. I like their product. It just showed up at the liquor barns in Lexington.
October 17, 201213 yr Had Weisse Versa in Conroe, TX last night. Local craft beer. Pretty tasty. Weisse Versa Wheat - Karbach Brewing Co. - Houston, TX - BeerAdvocate
October 18, 201213 yr It just showed up at the liquor barns in Lexington. I'm bummed out. I asked a rep at Party Town if they had received any and he said they got ONE case a while back. Pretty limited release.
October 18, 201213 yr I'm bummed out. I asked a rep at Party Town if they had received any and he said they got ONE case a while back. Pretty limited release. The Oracle and Hopslam are both a pretty tough find. If you don't go the day they arrive, you won't get any. If you've not had New Holland's Imperial Hatter, I recommend it. Regular Mad Hatter is very good also.

Regular Mad Hatter is very good also. I've never found Hopslam to be that tough to find. Agreed on the Hatters as well.
October 18, 201213 yr One thing I'd love to be able to come by in the states is the Kentish Ale style of beer. There aren't too many of them out there, but none are made or exported outside of the UK and Australia. I got turned on to them while visiting my fiancee in Wales last year.
October 22, 201213 yr I've never found Hopslam to be that tough to find. Agreed on the Hatters as well. Oracle has been a tough find this year. Hopslam, while highly sought after is available to any knowledgable "beer man".
October 22, 201213 yr Sipping on some Red Hoptober Ale. Brewed by New Belgium Brewing Co. VERY GOOD!!!
October 22, 201213 yr On Friday night I had Alltech Hopfield and McCoy and tonight Founder's Harvest Ale. Both very good.
October 25, 201213 yr Some Hudy Summer Pils showed up at one of my local liquor stores last week at a very attractive price. It's quite good.
October 25, 201213 yr Went to a homebrewing class at Listermann Brewing Company this past Tuesday. I had a Wet Beagle IPA - it's a FANTASTIC fresh hopped IPA. I genuinely might even go out on a limb and say that it's my favorite IPA that I've ever had. I also had their resurrection of Wiedemann beer, which they've apparently obtained the rights to brew. ...it tasted very good as well, although it wasn't anything like the stuff my mom bought in grenade bottles that I used to sneak out of the basement fridge.
October 25, 201213 yr Tried a ST Louis beer - Schlafly IPA. Good beer. By the way if you're ever in STL looking for a good place to hang out go to the Loop by Wash U. Cool area. Went into a vintage record store and a dude was wearing a James Harris #12 Rams jersey. Keeping it totally vintage.

I can't imagine what real connection somebody from St. Louis would have with a Rams player from the early '70s. A Dan Dierdorf, Terry Metcalf or Jim Hart jersey would be far more appropriate.
