October 29, 201213 yr Well I certainly think I could have my arm twisted into giving it another shot....or bottle. If you wanna make the drive to Elizabethtown I can grab a growler.
October 29, 201213 yr If you wanna make the drive to Elizabethtown I can grab a growler.  Man...that'd better be some GOOD beer for the 2+ hour drive it'd take to get there. There is a good chance, however, that I'll be driving to have a few beers at Buster's in Lexington on Saturday, December 15th though...seeing as Jason Isbell's going to be there and all.
November 16, 201213 yr Sipping on some G'Knight by Oscar Blues Brewery. Very good! Best canned beer I have ever had. Also would like to add that I have tasted Ten Fidy by Oscar Blues as well and it was fantastic. Dale's Pale Ale is another good one that they brew. Next on the "to try list" is Deviant Dale's Ale.

I've had both G'Knight and Fidy on tap and they are two of my favorites. I'm just upset that their prices are very high. $13.99 for a four pack of 16oz cans is a bit steep. I thought canning was a cheaper option for the breweries.

I thought canning was a cheaper option for the breweries. I'm with you. They are a bit pricey. I saw at Cork and Bottle you can get them for $11.99 for the tall boys. Apparently, it must not be cheaper to can beer. But it doesn't change the fact that it is very good.

November 18, 201213 yr The cost of good beers rarely is dependent upon the choice of containers. Most of the top beers seem to be in the 10.99 range for a six pack. I may pay a bit more on occassion but 13.99 is stiff for a four pack. Seems odd that if it were six 12's mentally it would seem like a better deal but seeing four cans makes me want more.
November 18, 201213 yr Not sure what's going on but often times when I drink beer now I get a small rash on and around my neck. Weird. Goes away shortly thereafter.

Clyde, I am not sure how true this is but I have 1 or 2 friends that get something comparable to what you said. One of the guys found out that he is actually allergic to hops (which I didn't find too strange since hops are a fairly close relative of poison ivy). Just thought it was weird because I had never heard of that. If you wouldn't mind...pay attention the next time you drink a few to the IBU's. Beers with higher IBU's have a higher hop concentration. I hope you aren't allergic. But if you are....at least you can move onto the bourbon scene.

Duvel, which is one of the best I've had, usually trends between 12 and 14 bucks, I think. And usually those 4-paks tend to have more bang for your buck than the everyday quality sixer.
November 20, 201213 yr Mrs. Crunch picked up Leinenkugels sampler 12 pk. Didn't look to see which varieties are included. Best thing, 5.99!!
December 1, 201213 yr Was in Toledo, OH area this week so I bought a 12er of Bear Republic's Racer 5 IPA. Its great. Also bought a bomber of Stone's Imperial Russian Stout for a Company party tomorrow.
