What Beer/Wine are you are tasting right now?

Friday night had a 2006 Fat Bastard Shiraz with some steaks and clearly had waited too long to open. However, dad bailed me out with a Ravenswood Cab (sorry, didn't get the vintage) that was robust and excellent. Helped take the edge off Bardstown losing 41-6 to CAL.

Also, my uncle came back from out West and brought some leftover bottles of "Blue Paddle," a pilsner/lager made by the same brewer that makes Fat Tire. I had one after mowing the lawn for the final time this year and could not have asked for anything better.

You could've called a nearby friend to share. Just sayin' ... :D

I've consumed a few Hoegaarden's lately. Solid beer.

Would somebody consume some Bell's Third Coast Old Ale and tell me what they think of it...

I love the stuff but my only problem is that it is PACKED with calories. 10.2% alcohol by volume is nice. Also, this style of beer can be stored for years on end and like wine it ages well. For some reason when I buy this it never makes it to storage.

Had a few Moerlein Exposition Lagers last night. Vienna style...and SOLID.

Been sipping on there IPA lately. I believe its called "Northern Liberty IPA". Also SOLID and I like supporting the local guy too.

Agreed on both counts.

Send some my way and I'll gladly give it a try. I can't find it around here.

I have a 12-pack of Sam Adams Oktoberfest in my fridge waiting for me at home if I can ever get out of this office...

I've been looking for the Oracle but no luck. I'm sipping on some Against the Grain Noho Motueka. It's an IPA with New Zealand hops. I like their product.

Had a Falls City pale ale on draft today. Pretty good.

Been drinking Bud Light tonight and I hate it. ( Leftover in the fridge)
