Russell voted for Courtney.

Hmmmm ... I did not catch that. That puts a little twist on things. Russell hates not being in control so I will be interested in seeing how he reacts to that vote. That looks like he lost control of the votes.

Villians are limping into the merge though when they could have been strong. Russell plays a great strong game, but I think he will not win for the same reason he lost last time around. Makes too many enemies. I look for a Hero to win.
I think Russell is just fine with his tribe being wiped out. It gives him more control over the game. He knows that he isn't going to be voted out, and he can start destroying the other tribe after the merge.

Btw, did you hear one of the producers may be headed to a real "tribal council" for voting his wife off the planet?

Courtney staying is the first bad move by Russell. She will never vote with Russell and will do everything she can to get rid of him. Coach was putty in Russell's hands. Russell will need immunity idols to stick around once the merge happens. When Courtney and Sandra hook up with the heroes tribe, Russell will be short lived for the game without immunity.

I didn't think that Russell voted for Coach. After the show it showed who voted for who and I believe it was like this. He is without a doubt the best game player ever to play the game.

I'm sure Russell knew exactly how the vote would go. Coach is gullible, Russell was probably working his way for a jury vote down the road. "I DID NOT vote you out Coach." I can hear it now. Parvati voting for Coach tells me Russell knew what was going on.

I thought the same. Did you see that on the slip Russell signed his last name so Coach knew he voted for Courtney. Coach gave him a tap. I am sure that was for a jury vote. You don't have to like him to respect him. He has game.....

I see it different. The heros think that it's girl power on the villians side and will try to lure Russell over to their side if a merge happens now. The count is 6 villians to 5 heros and the heros need someone to flop and Russell is who they will go after. It even mentioned one of the stupidest moves ever in survivor history that JT was thinking of giving Russell the imunity idol to help him come to thier side against the villian girls. If he doesn't get caught he could have an alliance with everyone.

Another thing about Russell. He gets everyone believing him and then they are blindsided. He is the perfect player to keep around because the people voted off (the jury) hate him. It good to keep a person you believe no one on the jury will vote for, to take with you to the finals, and IMO Russell is that person.

That logic works fine for the normal survivor season, but I do not think that strategy will be successful on one of the 'all star' season like this one. These players love the game and might be more willing to award the money to someone who plays the game better. So, If Russell is in the final two I can see him getting votes as a better game player this time.

Those are my thoughts exactly. I feel like they will respect Russell more, so they would vote for him.

That is amazing that JT for some dumb reason is considering given an immunity idol to Russell who is IN THE OTHER TRIBE.

JT is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

JT is not the sharpest tool in the shed.

The lights are on, but nobody's home....

Please tell me I really didnt watch that episode and JT didnt give Russell the immunity idol.

:ohbrother::ohbrother::ohbrother:That had to be one of the dumbest, if not THE dumbest, moves in Survivor history.
