Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains

Amanda may be one of the worst strategic game players in the history of the game. And yet, she has still managed to play more days than any other. Kind of like the pitcher with a 5+ ERA who gets nine runs of support from his team every start.

I totally respect and appreciate Russell's game, however even with this bunch having the ability to "respect" his game, IMO still will not vote for him if down to the final 2 or 3. His social game will have burnt too many bridges to garner enough votes. That is the only thing keeping him from being the "best" to play the game ever. He lacks what it takes to meld a great social game with his physical/mental game.

I agree. I made this point earlier in this thread. Look at the jury - Coach, Courtney and JT. All three have been lied to and backstabbed by Russell. There is no way Courtney will ever vote for Russell. Coach is such a flake who knows but based on comments and his often stated high ethics, I can't see him voting for Russell. JT - maybe. Russell lied to him big time but JT may say Russell just outplayed him and consider voting for him. So maybe Russell could get one vote out of the jury at this point and that is doubtful. Sandra will never vote Russell. And of those left that may vote for him, Russell will do one of his patented "swear on my mother's grave" lies and burn those votes also.

As to Amanda, she is the opposite of Russell. She is very good at playing the social game and chatting everyone up. And she is a solid contributor in camp and at challenges. She almost never makes a move. She lays low and let's others make decisions then just follows along. That is why she has played the most days. She did make one big move (can't remember the details) in her first season and it burnt jury votes for her, causing her to lose, so it is not likely she will even think about doing a move again. Amanda is the anti-Russell.

I guess that is what happens when nobody really views you as a threat at all lol. But whatever gets you to stay in the game.

It's funny because it used to be older women who fit that bill in the earlier seasons until Amanda redefined the role.

I'd be surprised if Russell and Parvati don't make it to the final show.

I am stoked about this weeks show and it hinges on Sandra. She controls this week IMO. Which side will she swing to? Will the hero's even trust her if she does come to them after Pov saving her?

I had to laugh everytime JT was talking to the camera, thinking he was so smart. When everyone watching knew he was shooting himself in the foot. I bet he hated to watch last weeks show...

Tonight's show is a big one. Usually when you get to this point with about 7-9 players, there is a big move that sets up the alliance that will control the game and who gets to the final three. Sandra looks like the swing vote between Heroes and Villains but the Heroes tribe is not that tight IMO with Amanda and Candace open to a new alliance of some sort.

Here is a big question for tonight. Assume you are Sandra and that it comes down to your vote tonight along tribal lines. Who would you get rid of? I am sure the immediate answer of most is Russell, but I think I would go after Parvati. I would want to be against Russell in the finals because I don't think he can get enough votes to win. Parvati can definitely get votes at the end so she is a bigger threat in the final 3. If I were Sandra, I would go after Parvati and I would try to replace her in Russell's alliance to the end. I would tell Russell she is too big a threat to him and that she has to go. As the saying goes, Keep your friends close and keep your enemies closer.

Candice is one of the stupidest players in the game. Why would you vote out Amanda and keep Parvati when you need the numbers? Congratulations, you are going home next week.

You said it, WSF.

They keep letting the cancer (Russell) get farther in this game. They are ALL going to regret it sooner or later. As for Candice, REALLY?

Parvati's played the best game so far. She might be the one to take russell out.

Taking him to the finals wouldn't be a bad play either, cause he still won't win

I reluctantly have to agree. I hate it, but it is the truth.

I wouldnt go that far. They guy will have made MANY enemys but if they vote on who played the game best he would have a clean sweep of the votes.

By the way I dont remember the girls name but why in the world would you tell everyone the clue where the idol is. Keep it for yourself.

Agreed.

Also, when Amanda and Danielle were battling over the clue at the reward, if I were Amanda I would have said to Danielle, "You can have the clue but know this, I will be your shadow when we get back to camp. You will not be able to take a leak without me being by your side. So how do you want to play it? Do you want to read the clue here and work something out or do you want me to shadow you at camp and beat you to the idol."

Sandra worked it but Russell worked Candice over and blew up the plan. I am not sure what Candice thinks she gained. She has to know she has no chance of going to the final three with the Villains. Isn't it amazing that people continue to trust Russell when he has proven he will lie and backstab anyone at any time?
