Heroes, trying to act like "heroes" and save someone... He is the last person that needs saving. He fends for himself quite well.

I dont know why they got rid of Courtney instead of Sandra. Sandra is a player and I think she will make her way into the heroes side.

Agreed. Courtney is zero threat to win anything.

Sandra just grates on my last nerve. I don't know if it is her voice, her attitude, what, but it drives me nuts to watch her every time she's been on the show.

I'm with you. But that is my attitude toward most of the villians, & unfortunatly, they all can't be voted off at the same time.

Please tell me I really didnt watch that episode and JT didnt give Russell the immunity idol.

While I agree that it was incredibally stupid for JT to give that idol away please don't forget that both Rupert and Colby seemed to be on board with the idea. The heroes as a whole just seem to be less intelligent then the villains. Maybe to be an effective hero you need the influence of a villain.

Colby and Rupert bought into the idea.

And Colby was a key person to it being pulled off.

After Colby told Russell what was going on, I don't think Russell tried his best to get back into the immunity challenge.

I love Russells line. Heck I dont have to go out looking for hidden immunity idols, people just give them to me.

I cant wait til the season is over and all the people are sitting together in New York or where ever it is and they ask JT what he was thinking.

I agree, Courtney has no chance of winning while Sandra took home a million.

She better! They need to make russell think they're coming after him and have him play the idol, while they take out Jerri or someone.

Russell has them all surrounded and they don't even know it.

Next week's story will come down to who the heroes believe. Will they believe Russell? Or will they believe Sandra when she tells the heroes what really has been going on in the villains tribe? I am sure Russell will spin it that Sandra is trying to trick them and don't believe her. But the fact that Russell did not vote out Parvati will be hard for Russell to explain. I can't figure out how he is going to pull that one off.

I've never watched Survivor until the last season, when I caught the first episode with Russell being evil and burning the tribe's socks and pouring out their water. I kept watching because I wanted to see him go. But as time went on, I grew to like him for his jungle smarts (can't say street smarts when there are no streets.). I am watching this season simply because of Russell. He has continued to impress me with the way he plays the game. He certainly knows how to play people against each other to his advantage, and to hone in on people's weaknesses, especially mentally, and zap them. I'd probably hate him in real life, but in my limited experience with Survivor, he's my absolute favorite player.

I agree rockmom - Russell makes the show fun to watch. I have been a Survivor fan from day one. I also have commented that Russell is the greatest survivor of all time. But he has one flaw that works against him as the greatest ever - his style gets him to the finals but his style costs him the votes he needs to win. I was shocked at how the voting went last season when Russell lost out. But then I started thinking how his playing style turns off the other players who are on the jury. I think you can see it already happening in this season. I don't think there is any way Coach or Courtney will vote for Russell to win. Sandra will not vote for him either if she is on the jury. Once he backstabs Jerri she won't vote for him. He will antagonize the Heroes tribe members with his lies and cost himself votes there also. That is the one problem with his game and that is a big problem if you want the $1 million.
