April 30, 201016 yr Agreed. Also, when Amanda and Danielle were battling over the clue at the reward, if I were Amanda I would have said to Danielle, "You can have the clue but know this, I will be your shadow when we get back to camp. You will not be able to take a leak without me being by your side. So how do you want to play it? Do you want to read the clue here and work something out or do you want me to shadow you at camp and beat you to the idol." Sandra worked it but Russell worked Candice over and blew up the plan. I am not sure what Candice thinks she gained. She has to know she has no chance of going to the final three with the Villains. Isn't it amazing that people continue to trust Russell when he has proven he will lie and backstab anyone at any time? Thats what I said. They keeping letting the Russell cancer spead, soon its going to be too late for them and their only chance to survive in the game is to do what he says.

I agree on every point of your post... :thumb: I’m impressed with the moves by Russell and Pov, but at the same time shocked on how dumb others are (JT, Amanda, Candice and the guy that went out before Boston Rob).
April 30, 201016 yr The one thing that I am looking forward to next week, is to see if Russell and Pov battle over control of their tribe.
April 30, 201016 yr As a huge Russell fan I'm not comfortable with his position at this time. It looks good, sure, but Parvatti is just the type of player who could take him down. I'm hopeful he makes it to the finals but I'm not convinced he is out of danger yet. His style of play, while I love it, is very aggressive and it would seem to reason (although it hasn't panned out as of yet) that a cast of "All-Stars" would be able to sniff it out and get rid of him. That is the one thing I think makes this seasons run even more impressive than his absolute "hose" job he got last season in the finals, he is more or less controlling the game with people who have played the game two times now and some of them even three.....Wow.

Or maybe the real power is playing him like a puppeteer and leading him right to where they want him to go.
April 30, 201016 yr The Russell Parvati battle is already classic and probably the best in Survivor history, and it is only going to get better. Excellent, excellent moves by both throughout this season. From the previews, it looks like those two are going to get after each other big time next week. I think Russell has done a nice job positioning himself with Candice. Jerri has stronger ties to Russell than Parvati and Danielle. Sandra is anti Russell but she could join with him if it meant getting rid of Parvati. Colby and Rupert will do anything to survive another week. If the villains split this week, anything could happen.
April 30, 201016 yr Or maybe the real power is playing him like a puppeteer and leading him right to where they want him to go.I agree. I don't think Russell is in control as much as he likes to think. I think he will blow it again this season, and I can't wait to see him go down. :thumb:
April 30, 201016 yr Candace finally made herself relevant...what it took 30 something days? lol. Not a smart move if you ask me. As for Amanda, I think the first time she smile all game was when she got booted. I definitely don't think I would have just given the clue back to Danielle. Who cares? There is no Survivor ettiquette lol. I would have said sorry about your luck and get your hands off me. As for Russell, I think that he is in a dangerous spot as well. But because of the previews for next week, I don't think that he'll go home just yet. Lastly, I strongly encourage the big fans to go to CBS.com and watch the scenes from the Ponderosa. It's where the jury members go when they get booted. Pretty interesting short clips sometimes.
April 30, 201016 yr I must say this thread has been rather fun to follow all season long, since I know how it ends...

April 30, 201016 yr And you have magical insight...how? It's like how he knew this season was filmed after the last one aired...

April 30, 201016 yr And you have magical insight...how? I'm sure there is spoilers on the internet somewhere...but that ruins the fun.
April 30, 201016 yr It's like how he knew this season was filmed after the last one aired... :lol:He's dating Jeff Probst? :eyeonyou:
May 1, 201016 yr I hated watching Courtney play the game of Survivor but her reactions and comments on the jury are priceless. If anything, the 5-4 vote could mean Sandra could convince the Villians that she didnt flip and she get farther in the game. Its not like Candace can outsmart anyone at this point. The Banana tree in camp has a better game IQ than her. I dont see Russell winning it. Russell is like Kobe Bryant. We know he's good. He knows he's good, but you just have a hard time rooting for the guy even though he's fun to watch. Amanda gets her torch snuffed for the first time in over 100 days. She is the Chicago Cubs of Survivor. I think Jeff reveals way too much with his questioning at Tribal Council. He has the on site producers and video people feeding him nuggets of what goes on in camp but I sometimes think he exposes too much during the questioning. I dont think Colby got what he bargained for when he found out he'd be sleeping with two women at the Reward Challenge. You can tell he is not a fan of any type of drama and tries to steer clear of it. I still think Candace was a last second casting addition. There is no way the producers had her name in the top 20 when picking who they wanted for this show. What season was she again? I think it's amazing how the first All-Stars show was considered a disappointment in the eyes of many and this one (along with the last season) may have kept the show from jumping the shark. I still think Parvati is a better game player than Russell because she can control her emotions when faced with adversity.
