I wonder what Graham will do with the O/D systems that are installed?

With as tight as school budgets are, I am assuming he will keep the old staff?

Pretty good hire by Henry Co. Ray will do a good job.

Ray will win 6-8 games every year. Great guy. Likes to take on most of the burden himself. You will see a 3 back power,bone,wing-t mixture on offense and a 5-2 monster base on D with heavy adjustments from opponent to opponent.

I really don't think you will see the wing-t on offense or a 3 back power. Not a good fit for Henry County. From what I here Coach Graham has used the spread offense or " the system " in the past with very good sucess which is a much better fit for Henry County. But I guess will see as time goes on.

Ray has been at LCA (last 3 years?) where they used the system, but the last time Ray was a head coach (Harrison Co.) he was a 3 back Wishbone man. I would say he stays with the Franklin system since they already have it installed. He has also been a 3-5-3 guy at LCA, but the last time he was a HC he got in and out of a 5 and 4 man front. Defense will be a toss up, not sure what route he will go. Hope the staff stays, they will help with an easy transition.

They run the Franklin O at LCA but Ray had no input on it and never ran it at Harrison.

We should re-visit this in about 6 months and see what develops. I say you are not getting the LCA O or D schemes.

Easier for one guy to learn it rather than 60 kids learning something new. Perhaps he brings in a guy to call the offense or promotes a current staff member to do so. Would make good sense.

It seems like around 1999 or 2000, one of those years that Harrison lost to Highlands in the second or third round, that Harrison County was throwing the ball quite a bit. Is that not correct?

He retired/resigned, whichever you want to call it, from Harrison County following the 2007 season I believe? Almost positive.

IMO Henry dropped the ball OK this one and went with the name. How long will he stay there? They will be kicking themselves for not hiring Dennis Ledford!

Who the heck is Dennis Ledford and why the hell would Ray Graham go to Henry Co?
