Many 10th regioners didn't get the chance to see Pelle, but he was a pleasure to watch and a current D 2 All American. I listened to a Brossart webcast where Code said he was the single toughest player to prepare for in the year they won the All A State. Anyone that can avg. over 25 a game vs Brossart's Defense 3 times a year has got to be good.

Scott or Mullins couldn't wash the jocks of Fawns, Tiller, Taylor or Lee.

Got to mention Andrew Preston of GRC. Went on to Blemount University and played pro in Japan.

Preston, a three-year starter and integral cog on Bruin NCAA Tournament teams in 2006 and 2007, developed into one of the most dependable post players of Belmont’s NCAA era. Named to the 2007 Atlantic Sun All-Tournament team behind his 18 point-10 rebound performance in the championship game victory at ETSU, Preston is the program’s NCAA era career leader in blocked shots (123) and ranks fourth in career field goal percentage (.534). Preston earned Academic All-Conference honors in 2006, and graduated this past May with a degree in accounting.

He also holds career records in points per game (16.7), three-point field goals (326), and three-point attempts (835). In his senior season, he was named Student Athlete of the Year by CollegeInsider.com.

After graduation in 2002, Burtner continued his education in sport administration at the University of Memphis and earned his master's degree in 2005. While in Memphis, Burtner worked for the NBA franchise Memphis Grizzlies as an Account Executive of Ticket Sales from 2003 to 2006.

Actually Justin was cut his sophmore year....Corey was never cut. Seemed to be a great move for each of them to go live with their Dad (in Silver Grove)....Corey has done very well after high school....looking back them leaving CCHS ended up as a good move for both of them.....but let the record show they left CCHS on their own accord....can't blame the coaches on this one.
