Come on ....Akeem Scott and Chris Mullins from Montgomery Co. and no one mentions Billy Ray Fawns, Tiller, Jeff Taylor or Ken Lee?

 

Scott or Mullins couldn't wash the jocks of Fawns, Tiller, Taylor or Lee.

 

I totally agree, some of these who put these names down did'nt see them play.

Along with Cooper, those guys from Brossart were solid. Just never seemed to get past Mason County. I think they lost 5 games one year, and three were to the Royals. You knew you were in a war when you played them.

3. The guy from Mason County that torched Ballard in the state finals in 2003

4. The guard who won Mr. Basketball but was not recruited by OTS.

5. The sharpshooter who always hit big shots in the clutch, particularly a 35-footer @ Lexington Catholic.

 

There's players and then there are players and as far as top 10 lists, everyone and I mean everyone that has been mentioned should not even be mentioned in a list with Chris Lofton. Would have paid college game admissions to have watched this kid in high school, what a joy. Am going to go out on a limb here, but will say Wes Jones belongs at the top of the list of the most underrated players in the region.

He did, but eventually quit.

Many of you seem to be bleeding players over from the 1990s into the 2000s.

As someone said in a previous post, this is supposed to be players from just the 2000s, though all the players mentioned, regardless of "century" were fine players.
