January 30, 201016 yr Tartar sauce on fish or fries has to be from either Captain D's or Frisch's - Long John's is just plain awful. Well, we don't have a Frisch's or Capt. D's here in B'town, so I'm stuck with LJS. If I ate fried fish more often, I would keep Frisch's tartar sauce on hand, because it's the best I've ever had. But I don't.
January 31, 201016 yr Here's one for you: When there's snow on the ground, I can't resist the urge to wheel the grill out of the garage and fire it up. The more snow on the ground, the stronger the urge. Something about cold weather just makes the stuff coming hot off the grill taste a lot better. I know most people think of grilling out as exclusively a summer-type thing, but I've found that line of thinking to be nonsensical. Running the grill is a year-round sport.

January 31, 201016 yr I am chided here at the Crunch compound for having milk to drink when we eat pizza.Shoot, I've got to have milk with meals at home. Funny thing is, with restaurant meals I'll only drink Diet Coke. I love sugar sandwiches. One of my fondest childhood memories, is sitting at the kitchen table, eating sugar/butter bread with my grandpa. I guess my weirdest habit is that I like to put ketchup on mashed potatoes.

My grandfather used to eat butter sandwiches all the time. I can't remember if he put sugar on them or not. He died at 54 of a heart attack. I've got October 6th circled on the calendar, as I turn 55 on that date.

January 31, 201016 yr Oh, forgot to mention....vienna sausages dipped in peanut butter. Its official. You win.
January 31, 201016 yr Yeah, that qualifies as "Disgusting Squared." :lol:I tried one. It's not bad. A little sweet for my taste, but not bad at all. I prefer covering my Vienna Sauages with picante sauce, mixing them with a can of chili con carne, or adding them to a can of diced tomatoes, and eating them with corn chips, though. Of course, if I use chili con carne, I must also include a dollop or 2 of mayonnaise. I put mayonnaise on any kind of chili. Especially chili-mac and chili-spaghetti. Looks like vomit, but tastes great! :thumb: The rest of that list is not disgusting, per say, but I'm not a big fan of sweets. Maybe that's why I don't have trouble with my sugar, considering my age and size. (Old and fat.)
